Intilecta Enterprise Server
The Intilecta Enterprise Server is a server product that takes data from source/legacy systems in the enterprise and merges and transforms it into role specific visualisations and delivers them to the relevant client.
The Intilecta Enterprise Server also includes a proactive alerts solution that allows users to set up predefined conditions which the system will actively monitor, notifying them of any instances where those conditions are met.
Each component can be deployed on separate physical servers if required.
The TMWS authenticates the user request using windows or basic authentication to insure that only valid users can request and execute data synchronisation. All communication with the TMWS is encrypted using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol and a 128 bit encryption key.
Notification channels are implemented via a dynamic provider model. Out of the box, the Intilecta Notification Controller includes an e-mail notification provider. Additional providers can be developed on a per-implementation basis for alternate notification mechanisms such as SMS or pager.
The Administration panels provide a number of functions to administer the software platform (both client and server elements).
Designware Administration
The designware administration levers allow an administrator to upload and manage all designware elements including alerts, panels and ATTFs. They can also create, modify and remove the lever hierarchies, maintaining different hierarchies for different needs or client devices. Documents can also be published through this tool, linked to the lever hierarchy in place of designware.
Organisation Management
The organisational management levers enable an administrator to add, modify or remove users from the system, including standard profile information (email address, surname etc) as well as creating and assigning roles and positions. The administrator can build up a hierarchy of positions into teams to control aggregation and data access, and create and maintain roles to control access to levers, alerts and Bliki permissions.
System Maintenance
The system maintenance levers allows an admin user to view and edit application settings. This allows application settings to be assigned on a per user, per role, per device, or enterprise-wide basis.
Designware Package Upload
The Alerts, ATTFs, and Panels administration levers support a designware package upload, which is a new concept introduced in version 2.0. This allows these components, including all dependant components, to be packaged into a single file which can then be uploaded into the database. Individual components are extracted from the package and saved to the database. This allows for a much simpler and less error-prone panel and alert lever deployment process.

Web Services
All data synchronisation activity on the server is executed under an application managed account. The client application is configured with an application account name and interrogates the Token Management Web Service (TMWS) for a token to use as the password for that account. The TMWS authenticates the user request using windows or basic authentication to insure that only valid users can request and execute data synchronisation. All communication with the TMWS is encrypted using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol and a 128 bit encryption key.
Alert Controller
Intilecta includes a proactive alerts solution that allows users to set up predefined conditions which the system will proactively monitor and notify them of any instances where those conditions are met. The alert solution is comprised of the following components:- Alert Controller: The server based alerting engine checks incoming data against the parameters defined in the alert settings, records any instances of the conditions being met into an Alert Results repository.
- Alert types: There are predefined sets of conditions within the system which can be monitored. Much like content panels, these alert types can be expanded within a customer implementation by selecting from the available alert types within Intilecta's content library, modifying existing alert types or developing new. Alert types are made available to users by assigning them to roles.
- Alert Settings: Users create instances of alert types called Alert Settings through a wizard that enables them to enter their own parameter driven thresholds, and to specify what notification actions to take when the conditions are met.
Notification Controller
The Notification Controller is a server component that provides proactive notification of alerts according to user-defined preferences. The Notification Controller is typically executed regularly, following the successful execution of the alert controller. For each successful alert, the notification controller will generate a message via the notification channel that was specified in the alert setting.Notification channels are implemented via a dynamic provider model. Out of the box, the Intilecta Notification Controller includes an e-mail notification provider. Additional providers can be developed on a per-implementation basis for alternate notification mechanisms such as SMS or pager.
Administration Console
The Intilecta Administration Console is a set of designware panels that provide central control of all application functionality and user access. This library has been implemented to run on the web client. The Administration panels provide a number of functions to administer the software platform (both client and server elements).
