Our Software Philosophy

Intilecta's software platform has been designed to drive sustainable competitive advantage and cultural change within an organisation through the delivery of behaviour changing designware.
"Designware is delivered to Enterprise Devices in a way that integrates into the daily lives of users"
The primary design goal for all of Intilecta's software clients is to provide a highly intuitive user interface and application experience. Users should not be required to think about the interface - it should function in totally expected ways, and should be able to be used with as minimal departure as possible from their normal daily routine.

Our software, delivering designware into the enterprise

The following design principles and philosophies are fundamental to our software:
  • Pervasive: To drive behavioural change, software must be integrated into a user's daily work patterns. Intilecta delivers designware into high use applications of choice, including Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes and Windows Mobile.
  • Intuitive: To ensure high use, software must be able to be used by the target user base intuitively and with minimal fuss. Understand the behaviour of the user first, add value to that experience and the user will come back. No technical jargon should remain in the user experience.
  • Targeted: In so far as possible, eliminate the number of choices a user must make. Software should enable a user to immediately see and access what they came for, and to simplify the process of further investigation.
  • Occasionally Connected: Users may or may not be connected to their corporate network all or even most of the time - the key is that they shouldn't need to care. Intilecta's software is designed to enable the user to access their designware anytime, anywhere.
  • Centrally Controlled: The software needs to fit into a centrally managed deployment model, and allow client side updates with as little impact to the user as possible. IT and system administrators should have a high degree of control over the way the application functions.
  • Proven Technology: No reinventing the wheel. No bleeding edge. Leverage existing and proven technology.
  • Secure: All data must be transferred and stored in a highly secure manner.
  • Modular: Allow designware to be developed and deployed in a modular fashion. Rapid deployment and ongoing feedback are critical to implementation success.
  • Evolvable: Usage patterns should be collected to enable ongoing improvement and refinement.
