Our Implementation Philosophy
Intilecta's implementation philosophy combines business consulting and technology implementation techniques together in a tightly coupled, output driven format.
"Our philosophy ensures that our solutions can be
rapidly aligned to, and integrated with, each organisation's business strategy, business environment and technology landscape."
The following philosophies and experiences underpin our implementation process:
- Business Driven: Our program focuses all engaged parties on the core question "what behaviours will deliver the results". We cut through the endless debates around look and feel, what should be where, what should this button do etc, and focus on the strategy your business wants to enable.
- No Requirements Gathering: We use an interview based methodology to understand current roles and processes, then by taking the management strategy and desired outcomes we're able to select the designware levers that will drive the right behaviours.
- The Super user is the Enterprise: Experience and knowledge of particular business processes and systems should not be stored in the heads of key super user personnel. Rather the collective knowledge of the enterprise is a living and evolving body that should be shared across the organization and contributed to by all. By using relevance, immediacy and context, this body of knowledge can be harnessed to deliver a true learning organization.
- Change is Constant: We believe specifications must remain fluid to keep pace with an ever evolving business. The philosophy also accepts that 'you don't know what you don't know'.
- Data is Federated: Real world IT landscapes in most enterprises today are a mix of disparate systems and processes. Our implementation methodology accepts that data is federated and gets on with the business of delivery, while underpinning enterprise architecture programmes.
- Single Point of Truth: We believe that presenting a consistent view across the business in a pervasive and transparent manner is the only way to build trust and develop a reference point of choice. A "single point of truth" is delivered implicitly, and any back end data architecture investments will flow through, giving immediate benefit realisation.
- Rapid Delivery: By utilising multiple iterations of short bound timeframes with explicit deliverables, we steer clear of the pitfalls of ‘big bang’ style enterprise implementations and insure benefits are realised as quickly as possible.
- Collaboration: Our methodology encourages involvement from a broad spectrum of users, ensuring exposure across the business and helping to maximise buy in, without becoming bogged down by large focus groups.
